#ImphackA social impact hackathon
Calling all creative problem-solvers
Imphack is a 2-day non-technical hackathon for participants from various disciplines that aims to develop a solution for encouraging digital nomads to join local community projects. Participants are asked to form multidisciplinary teams and come up with ideas that can be implemented in the near future. Due to its international format, Imphack will take place digitally and the enrollment will be open to all countries. We know that complex problems are best solved by looking at them from as many different perspectives as possible. Join us as we brainstorm ways to increase collaboration between remote working professionals and local communities.

The goal
The goal of this project is to raise awareness about the potential benefits of purpose tourism in which people travel to gain new experiences and make a positive impact in the places they visit.
The format
The event will be hosted in English and will involve 6 teams of 4 participants, formed during the event. After a series of talks given by experts in their fields, there will be a one-hour brainstorming session where each team will pitch project ideas to be developed at the event. Each team will then have 24 hours to come up with a solution with the online presentations being made on the second day. The judges, who are key decision makers from government, business, and civic organizations, will provide feedback on the proposals and choose a winning project.
